Finance Committee


The Finance Committee works closely with the Association Treasurer and reviews the financial status of the Association, which includes the operating account, reserve account and any other money account designated by the Board of Directors. This Committee reviews investment opportunities, meets with Association engaged investment counselors and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors which will enhance the Association's financial stability by protecting principal, increasing possible revenue and assuring an adequate cash flow to meet the Association's financial responsibilities.
Recommendations on fiscal matters, by this committee, are to be made through majority committee approval in presentations to the Board.
Members of the Finance Committee must have a financial background or competence in accounting, auditing, investments or related fields.
